Hola!
My art isn't for the faint-hearted. I boldly expose the forces that unite and divide cultures, driven by a fierce intellect and unyielding spirit.
My goal? To create art that purifies the senses and triggers raw emotions from the subconscious while showcasing a deep respect for humanity. Inspired by my personal transformations and profound understanding of human behavior, I aim to evoke true humanistic values through my work.
Raised by a stonemason father, I learned to listen with my heart, selling headstones and valuing life and death intimately. This experience shapes my storytelling today, making "being alive" central to my work.
I'm a film and theater actor who writes and directs my own material. In 2019, I starred in "Zenu" and "Manicura," showcased at prestigious festivals including the Miami International Film Festival, Chicago Feminist Film Festival, and Cannes. This October, "Manicura" will be featured at The Latino Film Festival in Seattle.
Through my craft, I shine a light on vital issues, striving for a just and equitable society. I believe in grassroots movements and community organizing to drive change. As the Arauacos Colombian Indigenes say, "Ika" means "people," and I am here to represent and empower all through my art.

My ultimate goal is to create an art form that purifies the senses and evokes surprises, impulses, and emotions straight from the subconscious. My inspiration stems from my own mutations, paradigm shifts, and in-depth knowledge of human behavior. As an actress, I have the ability to move hearts and generate deep respect for the performing arts.
Growing up, I was trained by my father, a stonemason, to listen with my heart and engage with our customers while selling headstones. Experiencing life and death so closely, and working with my family for twenty years, has made me value our lifetime on earth. Today, "to be alive" is central to my stories.
